Top comes in a variety of textures and color options. Patented Sub-surface - Composite core provides moderate heat shielding and keeps the surface smooth and flat. Sub-surface is 100% bonded to the top plastic sheet. Permanently Bonded - Bottom plastic shell is thermoformed high-impact ABS plastic bonded to the internal composite core. Hardwood Strength & Stability - Inner hardwood leg support members fastened together with 1-5/8" hardened wood screws consist of alder for strength and performance. Secure Legs - All 16 gauge steel leg brackets are secured metal-to-metal with hex-head bolts into steel T-nut fasteners. Each T-nut fastener is secured into the wood frame cross members from the top side and has at least four anti-spin prongs each. If necessary, legs can be easily replaced. Stays in Place - Replaceable rubber anti-skid pads keep tables from sliding when stacked. Durable Corner - High-impact, injection molded ABS corner designed for shock absorption. The corner withstands a 2-foot corner drop with no structural damage. Trim - Trim extrusion is chemically welded to the entire perimeter of the table, bonding the edge of the top shell of plastic to the bottom. Durable Edge - ABS internal rectangular extrusion creates a moisture resistant multi-walled edge that supports top and bottom ABS shells for added durability and edge impact strength. Supports Heavy Loads - Laminated 3/4" thick, end piece connects to engineered LVL wood runner which helps provide the strength to support an evenly distributed load of 1600 lbs without collapse or permanent deformation. Yet a 30" x 72" table weighs only 41 lbs. |
